Community Futures Howe Sound is looking for 8 to 12 Pemberton-based businesses to attend a business development workshop.

MEETING PURPOSE / AGENDA

The Lil'wat Nation is in the process of developing a five year training plan that will help develop and strengthen the skills of their members so that they can take full advantage of future employment opportunities in the Sea-to-Sky region.

Community Futures Howe Sound (CFHS) wants to meet with Pemberton employers to get input on:

1. The potential jobs that would be available over the next few years
2. The types of skills Pemberton and district employers are looking for
   

CFHS is also seeking feedback from employers on how the Lil'wat can work more closely with Pemberton businesses on the development of employment and training initiatives that would help boost the Pemberton economy.
