Former Board President
David has owned and operated a wholesale distribution company servicing the Sea to Sky region since 1995. If there were a poster child for entrepreneurs, you'd likely see David's face on it. He embodies the entrepreneurial spirit and consistently extends a helping hand to aspiring entrepreneurs, turning their dreams into reality. David is not only our former chair but has also been the President of the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation since 2016. He is passionate about business and service excellence as a way of keeping the Sea to Sky constantly relevant.
Kirby Brown currently serves as the General Manager of the highly successful Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish. Before taking on this role, he lent his considerable talents to ski resorts in Whistler and Panorama, British Columbia. Outside of work, Kirby can often be spotted chasing after his dogs, spending quality time with his young daughter, and actively contributing to numerous non-profit organizations and social ventures within the community.
Natalie arrived in Whistler 14 years ago, initially for what was meant to be 'just a ski season,' but she fell in love with the community and decided to make it her permanent home. Natalie is deeply committed to giving back to her community and is eager to share her wealth of business knowledge to help others bring their dreams to life. With a heart for enabling and empowering others, she currently serves as the Director of Sales Enablement for a tech company and has lent her expertise to numerous projects over the years.
David made the move to Whistler two years ago and has wholeheartedly embraced the mountain lifestyle. When he's not carving through powder on ski days, you'll often find him on the valley trail, chasing after his energetic trio of young kids. Before joining our team, David held executive roles in financial planning and investment analysis with several multinational corporations. His professional background includes working on substantial global projects, with a particular emphasis on the food service and hospitality sectors.
James brings with him a distinguished background in risk mitigation. When he's not actively helping us expand opportunities for entrepreneurs throughout the corridor, you can often spot James on his bike, exploring the local trails throughout the year.
Kim is the Managing Director of WPC Health, a company offering physiotherapy and clinical counselling services to businesses across Canada. He has been living in the Sea to Sky for the past 12 years, and for the last three years has been calling Pemberton home. He hopes to contribute to helping others in the same way. Outside of work, life is busy chasing around two small kids and finding time to play in the mountains around Pemby.
